About this project:
We loved collaborating with Emily and Matt on their kitchen renovation, bringing to life a space that’s both bright and playful. Partnering with kitCaboose, we worked closely with them to integrate their vision into the overall design of their beautiful home.

From the outset, Emily and Matt knew they wanted to feature London plane wood and yellow Fenix ultramatt laminate as the main materials. We immediately loved this combination, as it perfectly captured the mid-century ochre vibe they were aiming for.

There are so many standout elements in this kitchen, but a few highlights are the spacious central island—perfect for the kids to run around and for displaying Emily’s and Matt’s eclectic collection of kitchen utensils—and the stunning London plane wall units. We can’t overlook Matt’s fantastic choice of tiles, which add the perfect finishing touch to the space
