The piece of bespoke furniture was for a bathroom renovation. The finished bathroom is perfectly put together with the Vanity Unit being a beautiful feature.
Emma is an interior stylist and instagram influencer; Since 2018 she has been slowly renovating her home in Glasgow, she has taken great care and paid attention to even the smallest detail to get the look she was after - this bathroom renovation is no exception.
Her blog describes how she opted for a bepoke vanity unity due to the space for the sink being small and awkward; an off the shelf unit wasnt going to work. Emma sent us all her ideas and she had a real sense of what she was looking for. We built the unit according to her choices allowing her to choose the handle design and other details. You will see from the photographs the results are a beautiful vanity unit that works wonderfully in her newly decorated bathroom.
Emma was interested in clean lines and a modern minimilist look, therefore Birch Plywood and white Hi-Macs was a perfect fit for her brief.
Emma was keen to have a step made for her small children to allow them to reach the sink. Her partner came up with the idea of a step that could be pulled out and also used for storage. With this idea in mind we incorporated a pull put box step that fitted neatly into the cupboard design. The box step is robust and can take some heavy traffic with the kids using it everyday. It was a real pleasure working with Emma on her project and collaborating on ideas. We were really proud of this unit and how it works for all the family.
The cabinet itself has so many beautiful subtle features that the guys really thought about. From the black acrylic handle plates to the front of the cabinet. It has been cut from one sheet of ply and therefore the grain all matches across the panels. Its like one big beautiful jigsaw puzzle. I cant thank ThreeFourFive Furniture enough, they did an amazing job, super helpful and I cant wait to work with them again
